Merry Christmas from Novus Dae
Novus Dae would like to welcome Tony Iris to the band on bass. Tony brings to the band a level of dedication and commitment along with his musical ability. We wish nothing but success for Mark in his career as an Industrial Technician.
Well there isn't much coming up in the next few months as Novus Dae continues the writing process for the upcoming CD. We'll give you more information as it becomes available.
T-shirts, Hats, Hoodies, and Stickers have just arrived and will be on the site in the next week or so.

Big news for all... Ryan Thorne is back with Novus Dae on lead vocals. Things have been relatively quiet the past 8 months, but we hope it will be worth the wait. New songs are being written, new performances are being scheduled, and a ton of other background work is being completed. The next show will contain new sounds, sights, and more. We can't wait to get back out and do it. As usual, we will keep you posted with all details when they become available.
There is a new section on the site under each band-member's bio, for journal entries. Each band member can post whatever is on their mind at the time. This will probably be most utilized after shows, appearances, etc. But it there is no set time, so check back regularly to see who is saying what...
As you may or may-not know, Novus Dae is entering into the Howard Stern "Restless, Restless" song contest. Contestants are to re-write and interpret Vinnie's song as heard on howardstern.com. We will post this song on our site as soon as it becomes available. For everyone that is familiar with Novus Dae, you will notice something (or should I say "someone") rather familiar in the song...

On Thursday June 3, 2004, former Novus Dae bassist Cory Dubnanski was killed while riding his bike/ATV off-road. We are deeply sadened by his loss and pray for his family. He will be greatly missed by his friends, family, and members of Novus Dae. RIP buddy, we'll miss you....

You may have noticed that there aren't any shows coming up... Well that's because we currently still do not have a singer. Ryan has been filling in on lead vocals but the band is still not capable of putting on a show at 110%. That being said we aren't actively pursuing shows and bookings. When they arise we will play them... but for now we are still on the hunt for Novus Dae's vocalist.
Last month Ryan Thorne departed down a path separate from that of Novus Dae. Due to irreconcilable differences the band as well as Ryan Thorne thought it would be best to move onto another project. We wish him nothing but success in his future endeavors and we thank him for being a part of Novus Dae the past three years. Novus Dae will continue on in pursuit of another lead vocalist. In the mean-time you can catch Novus Dae in and around the area playing local shows with various temps as well as Ryan Greenier filling-in for the original aspect of Novus Dae. All updates on this situation will be posted here as soon as they become available. Thank you to all of the Novus Dae fans for sticking with us and showing your support in lieu of all the controversy.
